2010-11 Recruiting Program Overview
The Elite Players Tour is committed to helping their members and parents be prepared to navigate through the process of college golf recruiting. Unfortunately, many highly skilled junior golfers with outstanding resumes find themselves in their junior or senior year of high school with little or no plan regarding how to secure golf or academic scholarships; how to narrow down their college list to ones that best match their academic and golf skills level; how to apply for financial aid; or how to determine if they even have the ability to play college golf.
In 2010-11 we will offer or be supporting the following programs for our members:
One on one meetings with any player or parent that wants to get a realistic and objective review of what the athletic and academic opportunites look like for their junior golfer. Ages 12-18 only. No charge.
Sample Golf and athletic Resumes are available at no charge, just let us know if you want to see a sample.
Email blast updates on our top players to 50 of the areas leading college golf programs. The list includes Div I and Div III schools. This is done four times a year. Individual player emails can be done, just let us know. No Charge.
Letters of recommendations can be sent, at no charge of course, just let us know!
EPT Academic Scholarship Fund is available every year, yet we rarely get that many players who submit their qualifications. Our fund is the largest in the region. We simply need an academic and golf resume by September 1, 2010. No charge to apply
Junior Golf Recruiting Handbook is being planned.
Golf Recruiting DVD and Video Services will be offered. A golf resume which is combined with a DVD of a players skill is truly impressive. We hope to have in place a relationship with an affordable video production company by the summer season. This will be a paid service.
